A life of balance

1 Peter 5:8-9

Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [a],in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour.

Withstand him; be firm in faith [against his onset—rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined], knowing that the same ([b]identical) sufferings are appointed to your brotherhood (the whole body of Christians) throughout the world.

I think one of the things the easiest ways for the enemy to get into my life is when I allow things in my life to become unbalanced.  The sad thing is… it is so easy to do.

That’s why it is so important for us to understand the need to find “our balance” within all things.  Our bodies and our minds give us clues when things begin to get out of sync.  If we ignore them,  we fall prey to a greater attack.  I’ve noticed that even “religion” has wounded many victims.

God wants for you to live in Freedom.  His desire is for you to move in sync with Him.   It’s attainable too, He lives inside of you.  May His Spirit be the one that control’s your atmosphere.
