Identity check

The word IDENTITY has surfaced over and over in my life for the last few months.

Whether its in something that I’ve read, something that someone has said, something that I have seen on TV or a song that I have heard playing, it continues to find its way into my life.

So I looked up the definition today on-line:

i·den·ti·ty

1.

the state or fact of remaining the same one or ones, as under varying aspects or conditions

2.

the condition of being oneself or itself, and not another

3.

condition or character as to who a person or what a thing is

4.

the state or fact of being the same one as described

Each one of us have our own unique identity.  They are each significant and play into something so much bigger than we could humanly understand.

What does Colossians 3:3 have to say about who we have become at the foot of the cross?
