I don’t know about you but I get fired up when I think about the way “the church” has completely missed the mark when it comes to showing love. I wish that when I was prompted by the Spirit to invite someone to church with me, that I didn’t have a fear of rejection take over me. Why is it that the church is so comfortable with judgment? I feel like we almost act entitled to behave this way because we have not traveled in the path of “the world”.

I have a crazy desire to call the church (including myself) to repentance over this area. I keep envisioning a community of women from every denomination humbly falling on their faces before the throne.

What the heck would that even look like???? Imagine what the Lord could do to our community if we would quit hurting one another all in the name of Jesus. Would it change our priorities? Could it save the marriages around us that are falling apart? Would our children change the next generation?

Women of this community…

Will you stand with me?

Will you dream with me?

I am praying for God to use us and for us to lock arms together in this fight we are all in.

Ephesians 4:11-16

11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

  1. Bowing down before our King in humility. Jennifer, 20 years ago I heard a pastor ( on the radio) ask.."what if we ( the Church) would repent of our wicked ways before the Lord? What if we all re-dedicated our lives to Him and loved the world as He does? "Their would be an army of believer that the enemy could not touch. We would be bond together and the world would know His love." This call has been heavy on my heart for 20 years..I just can't shake it and the Church is very sick right now…I'm still praying for our sisters to join us..I'm in..dreaming big with you!xo Donna
